1½ oz. brandy
½ oz. sugar syrup or to taste
1 cup milk
1 egg
Freshly ground nutmeg |
Mix all ingredients, except nutmeg, with cracked ice in a shaker or blender and strain into a chilled highball glass. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
*To Make
Sugar Syrup: In a saucepan, gradually stir one lb. granulated
sugar into 13 oz. hot water to make 16 oz. sugar syrup. Granulate
sugar does not dissolve easily in cold drinks, but this simple
syrup, being liquid, is the perfect alternative.
