A public service message" a drink is a drink is a drink" distributed to every radio station in Canada in 1996 and again in 1997 explains that a 12 ounce bottle of beer, a five ounce glass of wine and a cocktail containing 1.5 ounces of spirits all contain the same amount of ethyl alcohol and are equally wrong to mix with driving. This message continues to be aired throughout the country.
