In October 1998, the ACD launched in partnership with the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch a program that informs the public that standard servings of beer, wine and spirits are equal in alcohol content. The ACD believes that knowing what constitutes a standard drink of alcohol is crucial to any discussion of sensible drinking. Our message appeared on danglers and floor decals in all 364 B.C.L.D.B. stores for the month of October. A total of 700 danglers and an equivalent number of floor decals were produced.
