Association of Canadian Distillers

The Association of Canadian Distillers is the National Trade Association of Canadian manufacturers and marketers of distilled spirits products including Canadian Whisky, Rum, Vodka, Gin, Liqueurs and coolers. The ACD co-operates with governments, their agencies, and other stakeholders in the beverage alcohol industry to develop policies and practices which will lead to mutual benefit to governments, manufacturers and consumers of spirits products.

Within the distilled spirits community we seek to co-ordinate and facilitate relations between our members and the communities we serve. Our members subscribe to professional standards which emphasize honesty, integrity, and fair and equitable treatment for all those associated with our industry.

The members of the ACD represent over 85% of domestically produced distilled spirits products sold in all provinces and territories in Canada. In addition, our members represent many major imported brands of both wines and distilled spirits products.
